October Luncheon: Becoming the Modern United Way
October 9 @ 11:30 am - 1:00 pm
Featuring: Brewton Brownlow Couch, VP of Branding and Messaging – United Way of Greater Knoxville
How do you market to your business partners when your 100-year-old organization is in the process of transforming? Last December, the United Way of Greater Knoxville voted to join the network initiative and become a “Modern United Way.”
Learn how they are walking the balance between maintaining their long-standing reputation while telling the new story of what it means to be a Modern United Way.
Key takeaways will include:
- How to rebrand a well established organization.
- How to communicate with long term partners during the rebranding process.
- How to reach out to new prospective clients with your new story.
Brewton joined United Way in 2017 as the VP of Branding and Messaging. She is in charge of all internal and external communications for the organization. In the last six months, Brewton has also been leading the change management process associated with becoming the modern United Way.
United Way of Greater Knoxville fights for the health, education and financial stability of every person in our community.
