DIRECTOR OF MEMBERSHIP ENGAGEMENT

SUSAN NAPIER-SEWELL serves as VP for the Past Presidents Council, engaging with past chapter leaders to impact and advance the goals of the current board and to mentor both board members and potential candidates for the board. She began her journey with AMA in the 80s when she joined the chapter in Richmond, VA. Luncheons, events, and smart conversations drew her in. Susan experiences AMAK as a wonderful way to exchange ideas, noting, “I love learning, meeting people, and facilitating and making lasting connections—all of these are organic outgrowths of AMAK membership.” Susan was AMAK President 2016-17, and honored with the Volunteer of the Year award in 2015. She is the Marketing and Communications Strategist at System Improvements | TapRooT® and has a B.A. in English from the University of Tennessee and an M.A. in English from Vanderbilt University.
