DIRECTOR AT LARGE

DANIEL MONDAY was born in Richmond, grew up on the Chesapeake Bay, went to high school in North Carolina, and landed in Knoxville in ‘07 to help start and grow Slamdot two years after graduating from UNC-Chapel Hill with a degree in Journalism & Advertising. He’s driven by people, and helping businesses thrive. As COO of Slamdot, Daniel works in business development, customer service, marketing and day-to-day operations. He’s an Ambassador in the Knoxville and Farragut/West Knox Chambers, past chair of the Carolina Alumni Club, and past president of the AMA Knoxville chapter. His better half is Emily, and they have a son, Walker, and a daughter, Daphne. In their spare time, they watch a lot of Carolina basketball, and enjoy whatever water is most accessible – or doing whatever Walker wants and Daphne will allow. Daniel has a sweet tooth, so he loves anything chocolate, and appreciates a variety of music, but Outkast’s “Rosa Parks” will always get him to the nearest dance floor. He’s happy to connect over black coffee, a Gin & Tonic, or a good porter – there can be food, too.
